Glimmer

"…they sound like a blissed-out, fuzzed-up take on the early Foo Fighters, which turns out to be pretty cool.Stereogum

The rising East Coast rockers specialize in grungy earworms with a dream pop undercurrent, heavy on woozy vocal melodies and molten riffs.” — Bandcamp

“The album serves as a definitive statement that their aptitude extends beyond the creation of punchy, hook-driven tracks, proving that their softer, more ethereal soundscapes are equally potent and impressionable.” The Big Takeover

Debut LP Get Weak out now

Formed in the spring of 2023, New York-based grungy shoegazers Glimmer have had a busy start: after releasing a series of heavy-hitting singles (to praise from the likes of NPR, Stereogum, and BrooklynVegan), landing on official Spotify playlists, and playing countless live shows — including CREEM’s Summer Sunburn, NYC’s New Colossus Festival, and a successful European tour — the band released their debut LP, Get Weak, in October 2025.

Recorded in Brooklyn and mastered by Will Yip (Turnstile, Superheaven), Get Weak takes Glimmer’s sound to the next level, showcasing both their hooky sensibilities and their ability to craft dreamy, atmospheric soundscapes. Driving lead single “Dissolve” kicks things into high gear, while tracks like “Slow Saturday” and hazy ballad “Bloom” lean on moody, ethereal textures. Since its release, Get Weak has racked up praise from NPR, Stereogum, NME, VICE, and more.

Glimmer is Jeff Moore (vocals / guitar), Jaye Moore (drums), Johnny Nicholls (guitar), and Kevin Dobbins (bass.)
